    Spin Classes at Amman Valley Leisure Centre will be cancelled on 5, 6 and 7 September due to maintenance.

     

    20/20/20
    A great all-rounder when it comes to fitness and fun. Each 20/20/20 session consists of three different workouts that are hugely beneficial because in one hour, you are able to take part in both cardio and strength-building exercises.

    Actif Aerobics / Dancefit / Dance Fitness
    This choreographed class with easy to follow moves will improve coordination and cardiovascular fitness.

    Actif Bootcamp
    An effective form of exercise that combines bodyweight exercises with interval training and strength training, designed in a way that pushes the participants harder than they'd push themselves.

    Actif Circuits
    A class of fun challenges that provides a fast moving way of accomplishing all round cardiovascular and muscular fitness.

    Actif Core
    This class seeks to increase strength, flexibility and develop controlled movement from a strong core.

    Actif Kettlebells
    This class provides the essential elements of core strength training and cardiovascular exercise with the use of a kettlebell. You will really notice a difference in just a few sessions!

    Actif LBT (Legs, Bums & Tums)
    This workout utilises a variety of specific movements and exercises designed to shape the lower body.

    Actif Muscle
    Using a variety of resistance training methods this class is ideal for those wishing to increase muscle strength and size.

    Actif Spin
    High intensity session on a static bike guaranteed to get your heart racing whilst strengthening and toning your lower body and burning some serious calories! Individuals can adjust their workout intensity during the session to suit themselves.

    Actif Stretch and Tone
    This class seeks to increase strength, flexibility and develop controlled movement from a strong core.

    Aero Tone
    This non-choreographed aerobic conditioning workout will improve cardiovascular fitness.

    Barbell Sculpt
    This class will tone, sculpt, and strengthen your entire body, fast! This class challenges all of your major muscle groups while you squat, press, lift, and curl.

    Body Blast
    A cardio-based total body-conditioning program that will push you to new training heights. Resulting in more calories burned, faster results, and a more efficient metabolism. Ideal for those in the LF connect “Shape group”

    Body Conditioning
    A High impact, high energy class utilising exercise balls, hand weights, and your bodyweight as resistance. Feel fitter and more energised in 2017. Ideal for those in the LF connect “Challenge Group”

    Boogie Bounce
    FAB, FUN, FUNKY AND FAT BURNING. It is a complete exercise programme on a mini trampoline, choreographed to chart topping inspiring music which includes an extremely effective cardio section, and a really powerful bums, tums and thighs section too!

    Boxfit
    An effective form of cross-training. The class uses boxing training methods to tone and strengthen the upper and lower body.

    Exercise to Music
    This is a series of choreographed routines, set to great music with a mixture of high and low impact moves. The session can cater for all abilities, ages, and fitness levels with alternatives offered throughout.

    HIT
    These classes are intense short bursts
of exercise designed to improve fitness, strengthen and tone, where individuals are encouraged to work as hard as they can for a short space of time.

    HITT Plyo 
    30 minute circuit training using explosive plyometric moves to improve athletic fitness

    HITT Strength 
    30 minute interval circuit training to improve overall strength and fitness

    Insanity
    High intensity body weight interval training that can be adapted for all abilities.

    Jungle body Konga®
    Jungle body Konga® is an easy-to-follow, high intensity fusion of Boxing, Cardio, Dance & Sculpting set to the hottest beats from all decades. Konga® is a fierce & wild workout designed to shape, sculpt & redefine your physique.

    Kettlercise Combat Max
    An exciting fusion of kettlebells and MMA (Mixed martial arts). Providing a high cardio full body workout with an emphasis on core strength and fat burning. Ideal for those in the LF connect “Shape group”

    Life Circuits
    Focuses on cardiovascular exercises i.e. walking, cycling, rowing and stepping arranged in a circuit format and interspersed with strength and conditioning exercises. Ideal for those completing the National exercise referral scheme and LF connect “Health group”

    Muscle Max
    A strength training class specifically choreographed to use barbells and your own body weight to maximize your strength and define the muscles of your body. Each part of your body will get worked separately for all round toning. “Gain group”

    Rebound fitness
    Trampoline fitness classes provide the perfect environment to burn calories via a balance of high intensity and low impact aerobic activity. Ideal for those in the LF connect “Shape group”

    Synrgy HIT
    The Synrgy HIIT classes will be a high intensity 30 minute workout on the new Synrgy rig. The class will be an effective total body conditioning workout which will improve your upper body strength, cardiovascular fitness and core strength.

    Synrgy Life
    A class aimed to improve your well-being and physical condition, low intensity, low impact! Perfect for beginners and older adults.

    Tabata
    Tabata training is a High Intensity Interval Training (H.I.I.T) workout that lasts four minutes. The benefits of this form of training is that it burns fat in a short space of time!

    Triple Challenge
    Who said exercise is boring? This conditioning workout consisting of 15minutes of variations of aerobics: Step, Dance, High intensity cardio. Ideal for those in the LF connect “Movement group”

    Yoga
    Stretch and strengthen your body, as well as improving balance and coordination. Yoga positions can be modified to suit your own level of fitness and flexibility.

    Yogalaties
    Improve flexibility and strength through a mix of yoga and Pilates inspired moves. Suitable for all abilities and levels of fitness.

    Zumba
    The latest in Latin dance, using the fusion of Meringue, Cumbia, Salsa, Samba moves to get your heart pumping and feet tapping.

    Zumba Gold
    The easy-to-follow dance-fitness class that feels fresh, and most of all, exhilarating! Zumba Gold® classes provide modified, low-impact moves for active older adults.

    Zumba Step
    Introducing Zumba Step the revolutionary new Zumba program. Tone and strengthen legs, glutes with a gravity-defying blend of Zumba routines and step aerobics. Ideal for those in the LF connect “Fun group”
